Key Account Manager Travel Retail Australia

The mission of the Key Account Manager is to strengthen the La Prairie sales force by having close contact to all field supervisors and making sure they have all the tools to inspire, evaluate and train our BAs to increase sales. As a Key Account manager it is your responsibility to ensure development of brand equity, sales, profit and market share in the territory within company guidelines and strategies.

Primary Duties and Key Responsibilities

Create budget of the area, monitor monthly sell-in/sell-out results, control expenses and analysis in BI/SAP per airport and operator
Responsible for Margin II
Maximize retail sales, ranking, market share and growth vs. shop trend - and take corrective actions if needed
Establish monthly sales objectives per airport and ensure break-down per terminal/BA in cooperation with the field supervisor
Ensure performance measures and monthly reporting of assigned field supervisors
Manage inventories and drive product sales by category in accordance with company strategy
Submission of recommendations for opening/closing of accounts as well as other business opportunities

Initiate and coordinate projects for new counters/refurbishment: from design concept to final installation in cooperation with internal
teams, design agency as well as manufacturer
Control merchandising spending according to budget

Responsible for the timely sell-in of all launches according to brand marketing strategy and to specific market needs
Ensure correct product mix and full assortments (customize where applicable)
Implement marketing plan per location (HPP, contests, events)

In store activities
Promotion and podiums planning, organisation, implementation, supervision, as well as ROI analysis and best practice sharing

BA Financial Management
Control BAs administration: salary invoices, commissions, any needs

Store Management visits
In conjunction with the Retail Manager Presentation of marketing program and new products and negotiations of its implementation

Control of customers’ orders and ensure orders of new products are placed on time
Follow-up of POS material allocation per customer, per launch and promotion as well as effective use of stock of A&P material (WOC

Demand Planning
Prepare and suggest right forecast quantities for new products
Ensure a consistent and proper demand planning for all product levels for your area
Monitor and adjust accuracy if needed

Reporting, classifying and checking all invoices vs. budget
Your Qualifications
Entrepreneurial business driver, inspiring people, strong strategic skills
Having 3 years sales experience or related activities, preferably in TR sector
Fluent written and spoken English, with Chinese languages an asset
Social Competences – proven ability to develop harmonious, respectful stimulating relations among the partners: TR team, BAs, clients,
Personal Competences – Microsoft proficient, SAP proficiency an advantage, Analysis, Negotiation skills
