Account Executive

The Account Executive is responsible for achieving or exceeding the planned retail sales goals in assigned doors for the territory.

Primary Duties and Key Responsibilities
Support retail stores growth within a territory by maintaining an appropriate and consistent call cycle for assigned stores; work in
conjunction with RVP to create call cycle and submit for approval
Meet regularly with store counter Beauty Advisors and management teams to review MTS recaps. Discuss opportunities/concerns
relating to retail sales, inventory, staffing and sales promotions
Track retail sales against goal. Identify opportunities for increased sales within a territory, analyze the business, and proactively take
corrective corrective action to get results
Coaching and monitoring of Diamond Service standards with all Beauty Advisors
Comprehensive training and motivation of both inter-sell and line assigned in store staff in all products and promotions
Selling by example for all Beauty Advisors, Beauty Specialists, Product Specialists and freelancers; how to build and close sales
Coaching and development of in store teams against goals and metrics; ensure use of Daily Business Record and other tools
Recruit, coach, manage and motivate counter staffers. Keep a "bench" of people available to fill open positions
Work with Education team to ensure training appropriate for all Beauty Advisors and conduct consistent mentoring/appropriate coaching at counter
Responsible for the setup, coordination and execution of all in store events; supervision of all freelancers; negotiate event terms with retailer; establish goals and track performance
Successfully implement all in store merchandising programs; ensure the consistent implementation of merchandising guidelines and uphold counter image, identity and hygiene in accordance with La Prairie standards
Partner with store management to achieve targets, resolve issues and maintain positive relations
Research and develop new customer outreach drives by developing relationships with outside organizations that will result in new
customers; new event forums, tie-in with related industries
Communicate regularly with RVP and NYO team to communicate needs, share results and ideas
Management and development of in store teams:
Recruiting and initial training of all new hires; identify potential new Beauty Advisors and freelancers
Monthly assessment of new hires, leading up to a 90 day assessment with a decision on the 30th day or before as to suitability for the
Consistent evaluation of productivity (key performance indicators) retail sales, average unit sale, IPT
Ensure BA use of La Prairie clientele planner and DBR; coach counter disciplines, through training, monitoring, and follow-up
Responsible for ensuring La Prairie image and training of freelance staff, hiring licensed aestheticians for facial events; schedule and
manage productivity
Management and execution of special events:
Set up and execute events
Confirm special event details with store management
Follow-up with store management to ensure proper support and awareness
Coach pre-event strategy/post-event follow-up
Retail skincare sales experience
Demonstrated ability to work well with store management and retail sales associates
Strong written and verbal communications skills
A personal presentation with which a customer can identify
Knowledge and comfort with high priced, prestige products
High energy level
Flexibility as schedules/events are constantly changing
Demonstrated ability to coach and lead by example
